Christians nationwide are coming together to mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. These are just a few of the many moments of prayer and fellowship happening throughout the week.
TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH
There Is One Body – the 2026 WPCU theme
January 18, 2026, Grace Lutheran Church (NALC), 6 pm hosts Day 1 on Sunday
January 21, 2026, Ebenezer UMC (UMC), 6 pm hosts Day 4 on Wednesday
January 25, 2026, Daniels Lutheran Church (ELCA), 6 pm hosts Day 8 on Sunday
Each event is followed by refreshments.
FOCOLARE MOVEMENT
On Sunday, January 24, 2 to 4 pm, pastors, lay leaders, members of the Focolare Movement, and members of congregations from Catholic, Orthodox, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Messianic Anglican, and nondenominational Evangelical churches will gather for an afternoon of prayer and fellowship at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 615 W. Jefferson, Wheaton, IL 60817.
COLLEGE AVE COMMUNITY CHURCH
We will host daily prayer service Wednesday thru Friday for Rutgers University students. We are on the campus of Rutgers.

Staten Island Council of Churches
Prayer for Christian Unity service will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026. This event will include a special tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, featuring youth from various churches around Staten Island who will read quotes by Dr. King.
