Co-presiding clergy for this event are TBA.

The 2027 theme for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is “Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). Jesus encourages his disciples not to be afraid in a time of profound uncertainty and pressure, but to hold fast to their faith and their work: detaching from earthly goods, giving their money to the poor, and taking heart that God’s Kingdom is coming into their midst. “For where your treasure is,” he continues, “there your heart will be also.” For more information about the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the 2026 theme, or materials to aid in observing the WPCU in your home community, visit geii.org/week-of-prayer-for-christian-unity/.
